Road
Built for long Alpine climbs and steady-paced guiding days on tarmac.
About Bike o'Clock
Based in Gryon in the Swiss Alps, I split my time between guiding riders on local roads and trails, developing custom kits with Alka Sport and consulting for hotels, events and destinations on cycling-related projects.
Bike o'Clock is where these pieces meet: a small, flexible setup that stays close to real riders while helping places and brands create better cycling experiences.
Background
I’ve been riding in the Alps for years – on road, gravel and trails. Over time, riding turned into guiding, working with clubs, helping hotels shape their cycling offers and supporting events and brands behind the scenes.
Today Bike o'Clock connects these roles: I can design a route, ride it with guests, discuss kit choices with a club and sit at a table with a hotel director or tourism office to map out a longer-term strategy.
The common thread is simple: projects that feel real on the road, not just good in a presentation.
I'm based in Gryon, in the Alpes Vaudoises region of the Swiss Alps, and this is where most of my guiding and consulting work is, but I also collaborate with projects in other regions.
Hotels and bike experiences, tourism boards, clubs and events that want to build something coherent for riders: from better routes and on-site services to signature kits and long-term partnerships.
Bikes & tools
Different projects and rides need different tools. These are the main bikes I use for guiding, exploring routes and testing kit and equipment in real Alpine conditions.
Built for long Alpine climbs and steady-paced guiding days on tarmac.
For exploring mixed-surface routes, linking valleys and checking new ideas for guests' rides.
The go-to bike for technical climbs, local XC loops and easier guiding on trails.
For days when the focus is on gravity, lines and fun and for understanding the local bike park and trail centre offer from a rider's perspective.
How I work
Every project starts from what it feels like on the bike: the route, the climb, the timing, the small details that make a day work or not for real riders.
I prefer clear, realistic solutions over big promises. It’s better to do a few things well and build on that than to sell a story that doesn’t match the ground.
The aim is to build relationships and projects that last: with guests, clubs, events and partners who come back because it feels right to ride and work together.
Next step
Whether it’s guiding, a kit idea or a bigger cycling project for your hotel or destination, a short email is enough to start. I’ll answer personally and we see what makes sense.
